Maximum Ride Chapter 3

“Perfect” Fang muttered.

“There’s not that many though” Iggy said

There we were, exhausted, confused and staring at more Erasers, Fang was right, perfect. As usual, Iggy was right, there couldn’t be more than 20. Gazzy and Fang were the first two to jump in and start kicking furry butts. Me and Iggy just watched, well, I watched and Ig was listening to fist hitting chest and sneakers hitting butts. Within minutes all the Erasers were down and we were on our way.

“How much longer are we going to be in here, I’m tired.” Gazzy wined

“Gazzy, shut up!” Fang yelled

We walked around aimlessly for at least another 15 minutes. Then the ever so popular scientist started into the microphone.

“Times up!” He screeched

“THANK YOU!” Gazzy yelled clasping his hands together

Iggy and Fang snickered

“Shut up!” I yelled at the three of them.

“The exit is three corridors ahead” the scientist continued

We ran out of the mazeband went to go find Nudge and Angel. I found them in their rooms and let the questions fire.

“What’d they do to you guys?”

“They let me play with dolls” Angel said in a 4 year old voice

“They let me play soccer” Nudge said lethargically

‘‘What?!?!” Gazzy yelled “We had to run and fight our butts off!!” he continued

“Ha Ha” Angel mocked her brother

“I’ll be back” I said walking away

On my way down the hall and I found who I was looking for.

“Dex!” I whispered and motioned him over

“Hey, Max!” He yelled back

He tripped on, I don’t know what he tripped on, but I didn’t care, because I saw the most horrifying thing in the whole world on his neck.
