Maximum Ride Chapter 1

This is my first Maximum Ride Fan Fic EVER tell me whatcha think NOTE: MAXIMUM RIDE ISN'T MINE, IT IS JAMES PATTERSON'S!! BUT DEXI IS KEEP OFF!!! K, here we gooo!!!!!

At least 200 Erasers, 6 bird kids, and 12:00 a.m. at least, one white hot battle, and unfortunately, we were getting our butts kicked, bad. An Eraser put a nice hard kick into my back and one punched Gazzy in the stomach. Angel was making one Eraser hit another and Nudge was on an Erasers back and punching his head, Iggy and Fang were no where to be found. Something crashed over my head and I blacked out. The last thing I heard was a scream from Nudge.



I woke up. The bright lights burned my eyes; I felt the cold metal braces on my arms, legs and wings. I knew exactly where I was, but where was my flock? I couldn’t see what was 2 feet in front of me and I was completely immobilized, so I was in the ever so popular School, fantastic! I heard the footsteps of the white coats, most likely heading to my room, more great news!

“Hello, Maximum” the eerie, but familiar, voice whispered.

“Hello, Dex” I remembered, he was another Eraser but not as violent as the others, me and him were friends when I was little.

“You remembered!” He yelled jubilantly.

“Shhhh!” I told him “You can’t get caught!”

“Oh, right” He told himself

“Is it true? What happened to Ari? You killed him?” He went on again

“Partly” I stammered

“How? What? Why? When?” He sped on

“Well first he was chasing my flock and I kicked him and he fell down a flight of stairs sand his neck broke, but the science nerds here rearranged his neck and brought him back to life, but later on were in Itex headquarters, and we were fighting off mutants and expiration date came up, so technically, I didn’t kill him.”

“Okay, I see” Dex said fascinated

“Hey, Dexi, where are the others?” I haven't called him Dexi since I was little it felt so wierd like a blast from my childhood

“Other rooms.” He replied quickly.

“Are they all okay?” I asked urgently

“Yeah. You’re the only one awake though.” He coolly replied

“How tights security?” I wanted to know, I wanted out of here ASAP

“Not bad.” He replied

“Could we break out?” I asked him, unimpressed with his last answer

“Sure, as long as you know how to do it.” He said with a grin, he knew me to good

“Thanks Dexi. Do you want escape with us?” I told him

“Would your friends let me?” He asked insecurely

“They have no choice.” I told him with a grin

Me and Dex talked for a long time, I told him about all my adventures, he told me the malevolent things these nut cases were up to, sewing wings on to Erasers without anesthesia, all the shots they were giving them and what they did to him, making him big and clunky. Man, you gotta feel bad for these guys.
