Jacob paced back and forth, his huge wolf muscles rhythmically moving up and down making his red fur gleam in sun. Why am I stuck patrolling? He thought to himself.

Jacob zoomed back to Earth only to walk into a tree. He heard Sam’s chuckling.

Despite his desires, Jacob patrolled, his body sluggishly heaving its way through the forest. All of a sudden Seth galloped over.

Hey Jake! He screamed like a 4 year old on a sugar rush into Jacob’s mind

Hey Jacob, can I talk to you later? Alone.

Yeah, sure. Sam how much longer do we have to go through this?

Paul and Quil just came over so you and the kid can go.

Jacob and Seth ran through the woods over to the beach where Seth phased out of his wolf form and Jacob followed.

“So what is it?” Jacob asked.

“Yeah, see Jake, you know that girl? The baby? What’s it name?”

“Rensemee?”

“Yeah her. What was it like? Imprinting I mean. Was it fun? Or was it like you had no idea what had happened or you just knew what to do or what?”

Jacob shrugged “I dunno. It was weird. Why?”

Seth made a sheepish look “I want to imprint! It looked cool like you make such a bond with the person, imprinting… it looks cool.”

“Seth, you can’t imprint on anyone, it has to be someone that’s important to you, like your soul mate or something.” Or the one you love’s kid. Jacob wanted to add. “I didn’t pick who I imprinted on, it just kinda happened.”

Seth’s eyes went wide “How do I find her?”

Jacob shrugged. He really didn’t know.

Seth thought for a second, “Thanks Jake.” He said and walked back to his place

How do you find your imprintee? How do you know who the one is?
